We're open, thriving, and have been enjoying the great weather this season! VSB started off the summer with our Cancer Walk in early June. Residents united to bring awareness, celebrate strength, & raise money for the American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life", a non-profit organization that supports cancer patients and funding research. Residents wore red in unison and enjoyed a nice walk around our campus, followed by some evening entertainment. During this summer VSB is hosting music as part of the 'Summer Music on the Court' series. Various genres of music, refreshments and outdoor fun! We welcome all residents and future residents to come and experience the social and lively environment at Villa St. Benedict.
Summer also brings, grill days! Each Thursday we have a variety of items on our menu that have a grilled theme. Our residents enjoy al fresco dining on our patio. Our executive chef and culinary team find creative ways to engage our residents with fun, fulfilling, nutritional items. Come check out our extensive dinner menu!
Before you know it, you'll be creating a space and feeling at home. Enjoy a drink at the bar, yard games on our front lawn, bingo nights, and staying fit & active in our state-of-the-art fitness center. Residents can also put their green thumbs to work with their raised garden beds that host a variety of plants and vegetables. Our Life Enrichment team are always finding new ways to bring our community atmosphere to life. Not only does staff get involved, but our residents come up with some great activity and event ideas. At VSB we welcome volunteers and the opportunity of contributing to this community. Daily mass in the Sacred Heart Chapel provides a peaceful space to gather for communal and private prayer. Nestled on our 47 acres is a mile-long walking path that passes along our private and serene Grotto, Villa Homes, and around Benedale Center.
We can't forget to mention our furry friends living with us at VSB. We are a pet friendly community inclusive of dogs and cats, and our grounds are a great asset to letting our furry family members get some fresh air and enjoy the scenery with their owners.
