The Villa St. Benedict Foundation was formed in 2006 and is a not-for-profit philanthropic organization qualifying for charitable tax donations. The Foundation is dedicated to supporting the Mission of Villa St. Benedict and enhancing the lives of the people we serve.
Unlike some Foundations, overhead expenses – salaries and most administrative expenses – are paid directly from Villa St. Benedict operations, and not from the Foundation, so you can be assured that money donated to the Foundation goes directly to support the Mission of Villa St. Benedict to benefit our residents.
When making a contribution to the Foundation, you can choose to direct the gift to one of our dedicated funds.
The Charitable Care Fund
The Charitable Care Fund helps Villa St. Benedict in its commitment to our residents. Unlike most senior living communities, Villa St. Benedict will never turn our backs on a resident who can no longer afford to live in their VSB home. Families will never face the horrible financial necessity to uproot their loved one from their home. This commitment is an expensive one, but is also basic to who we are. Needless to say, the security that this commitment provides to our residents makes a huge difference in the quality of their life over their final years.
The Memory Care Fund
Abbey Lane is the name of our beautiful home for residents needing the special care that comes with diminishing memory. Donations to this fund will be directed to the enhancement of the lives of our Abbey Lane residents.
The General Fund
Donations to our General Fund are used to support our mission to improve the lives of seniors. These donations may be used for future capital improvements, health & wellness programs, and other general needs important to our VSB residents and seniors.
